Quite so, but 24 first-half points should be sufficient to stay competitive and in the game. With NU it's barely enough to hang on.

With this kind of a *first half* offense, you mean ... our second half offense (i.e. the turnover/3-and-out/"did these guys change unis at halftime?"/can't adjust to the D's adjustment) has been just as much a part of the collapses as the defense.
