Talked to a UoM insider yesterday.
He said that the team is planning to take care of this themselves. They
were embarrassed at how they got pushed around. As far as they are
concerned, this is football (not ballet) and these sorts of things get
handled on the field, not in the media.
So Purdue is likely to feel the brunt of UoM's response next week.

Subject: [NU Sports] MSU 'unnecessary roughness'
MSU DC Pat Narduzzi is backing down from his statement about
'60 minutes of unnecessary roughness', and MSU is preparing
a report to the Big Ten office on William Gholston's play
against Michigan.
The school has until today to send their report to the Big
Ten, and the Big Ten has three days after that to respond,
so don't be surprised if nothing comes down on this until
AFTER the Wisconsin-MSU game. But Sparty has to travel
to Lincoln next week.
