[NU Sports] Sad

After the Illinois game I figured this was 2001 all over again, and I would
be surprised if this team didn't finish 2-10 -- and so I decided to just
pass on football this year. It has been remarkably refreshing, I've been
getting a lot done around the house on Saturdays, spending time with my
family, and to be honest I haven't missed things a bit.

I just logged on to email today and found out we lost yet again. Surprise,
surprise.

My only fear is a return to being conference doormats for a long time.
Hoping that will not be the case. Going to be tough, though, if they keep
bringing schools into the conference with long-time big league football
reputations and a huge fan base.
