[NU Sports] Boy do we need a Homecoming miracle ...

Well, that was a frustrating 4th quarter. That game is a lot different
if we don't give away 10+ points in the first quarter.

I'm not a big believer in Penn State yet, they may be 6-1 but they
haven't really impressed me. I don't think it will take a miracle
to beat them, just a game without 13+ points of mistakes.

And given the inconsistent way the Huskers have played, I'm not totally
ruling out a Cats victory in Lincoln, either.

Even though they're 2-4 now, if they can beat Indiana, Rice and Minnesota
plus one other game, then they're bowl eligible. And if Michigan State
is out of the running for the Big Ten Championship game by November 26th
(after back-to-back losses to Wisconsin and Nebraska and then a loss to
Iowa), then Dan Persa could have a chance for a big win in his final
home game.

Was this the first game all season where we've never been in the lead?

Siemian finshed the game at QB, probably not a bad move to give him
some reps, and Persa's hand was probably bothering him. He has a nice
arm, too. Great TD pass to Lawrence.

They need to work on that on-sides kick play, though.
