   We're approaching a "Save the Season" type of game. Much like in '03, '04 and '05 when Walker's teams got the "W' against Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin.  As was the case with those teams, we had a good QB.  I fear the defense is worse, but the '11 NU team has proven it can run the ball better than years past.  Iowa and PSU are better than NU, but not by much.  We need a split to save the season.  A sweep would be better, but the way our defense is playing, don't bet on it.  
   If we can get to 3-4, 1-3 in conference, we'll keep playing as I believe we'll take 2 out of 3 at home to end the season, with a split against NU and IU. We need to beat either Iowa or PSU.  a win against either will give us confidence to save the season; by that I mean a bowl game. This season, I see no problem with Detroit. NIU, Temple or Toledo will be good teams to play.
