[NU Sports] In need of a basketball expert

No #1 team has ever lost; there have been a couple of #2 teams that have.
Indiana may have been one of them if my memory serves correctly although
it's possible that IU was a #3 at the time.
I think if we lose only one non-conference game, being one of either Baylor
or Creighton, and go 9-9 in the conference, we should be in. There is
enough strength at the top of the league to pull up the RPI of those teams
in the middle, plus the addition of four extra teams has to help, even
though every preseason bracket I've seen has us in the tournament, without
having to go through a play-in game.
