[NU Sports] We own the ACC! :)

Mirkovic's offensive play has certainly looked good early, though the level
of opposing centers will certainly increase in conference play.

And last night on D, NU stuck with man defense for much of the game and
rarely went to the 1-3-1, which they had to do in most of their previous
games after being flat out beat in their more traditional defense. This is
encouraging, as the D certainly needed improvement this season.

Finally, regarding point guard play, Sobolewski has looked rather good and
has some nice moves to get to the basket, too. I don't think any single
player will be able to replace Juice (particularly since he played 4,633
minutes in his NU career), but NU has been handling things pretty well so
far.

Now, of course, the huge test vs. a top 10 Baylor team (after a tuneup vs.
Miss. Valley St.).
