Washington State decided that Paul Wulff's 4-8 record this season
didn't outweigh his 9-40 record overall, and he has been dismissed.

Penn State is said to be interested in Mississippi State coach
Dan Mullen.  Mullen has roots in Pennsylvania and the northeast but 
has no direct ties to Penn State or its disgraced former coaches.

Urban Meyer will not coach Ohio State in its bowl game, but one
can assume he'll be paying close attention to the players and
staff.
