Does anyone know when was the last time Urban lost a game to a BT school ?  We know he beat us and  OSU.  I sure hope he gets the "experience" of losing to a BT school fast

Growing up a fan of the Maize and Blue, I feel like things have returned to normal a bit now in the Big Ten.

It was weird the past few years because RichRod was as slimy as they come and I had been fooled by the PR snowjob of Mr. Sweaterfest. I never *liked* Ohio State, but I didn't detest them with as much ferocity as I had in the past.

Order has been restored.

Brady Hoke (or "Bobby Baccala" for Soprano fans) is a Michigan Man and a heck of a coach. Once he gets his recruits in there (and not the tiny linemen RichRod had for his spread), they're gonna be dangerous.

And Ohio State has returned to prime hate-ability by hiring that pompous, sanctimonious windbag St. Urban as their new coach after a week or two of some truly awful acting and denials.

It's an interesting hire because while he is no doubt a winner, it's not like the Gators were a "clean" program during his tenure. And it obviously means OSU does not care much about public perception that it is "cleaning up" its out of control program (an SEC school in Big Ten clothing). Also because the "mystique" around Urban has died down since he's been in the broadcast booth -- getting schooled in Football 101 every week by Chris Spielman kind of hurts the rep of St. Urban as a genius coach, ala the offensive Nick Saban. But ... he is one heck of a recruiter and he will have a lot to work with in Columbus as long as there are no serious sanctions.

So USC utterly hate-able with that whiny lil' punk Lane Kiffin? Check.
And the Evil Empire has the volcanic bully who would sell out his team at the hint of a big payday? Yup.
Now "the" Ohio State "University" has an arrogant, run-up-the-score coach who rubs people the wrong way? Definitely.

Order has been restored to the unholy trinity of college football evil that I would usually see at the start of the season, end of the regular season and postseason as a child growing up. It's nostalgic in a way. Go Blue! :)
