If they're declared to be eligible for a conference slot, contractually
the next bowl in line when all the other teams are gone probably 
can't turn them down.  Historically, I don't think UCLA travels
well to out-of-state minor bowls, either.  

Maybe they'll pair UCLA and Penn State.  Would that be the Leftover
Bowl or the Rodney Dangerfield Bowl?

Sounds likely.  There were a bunch of obscene scores this weekend,
even some ranked teams lost badly.  But ESPN says NU was 'beat up'.
