I don't think the Big Ten office (ie, Delaney) came up with the name for 
that trophy.

Not only is the name lame, the trophy is boring.  

Over on the Husker List, it was suggested that they should make the city of
Carter Lake Iowa the 'trophy', except that it has to go to to the state
of the losing team.  (For those who don't know, Carter Lake Iowa is west 
of the current course of the Missouri River due to an 1877 flood, when the
river dug a new channel, bypassing the Saratoga Bend and creating an oxbow
lake, though it took a 1892 Supreme Court decision to settle the legal 
dispute.

Illinois was trailing 27-0 but just pulled off a fake punt for their
third first down of the day (compared to 15 for the Gophers.)

A freshman QB is now leading the Illini on their first decent looking
drive of the day, and they just scored to make it 27-7.

Penn State is now trailing 35-7, Purdue is leading by 6.
