[NU Sports] Around the league ...

While NU tries to play a four-corners offense for three quarters to hold on to a quick 21 points, some other action around the league ...

* MICHIGAN is on fire and steamrolling Nebraska, 31-10. It's a bit surprising, but certainly a win here and a big win over OSU next week would make a 10-2 Michigan a very attractive B(C)S at large team. It would also give Sparty the Northwest Division title, which MIGHT mean they aren't as focused next week ... fingers crossed.

* As for the other upset, shoulda known the Zookers would choke and WISCONSIN now has the lead - looks like the four-way catastrophe for Purdue trying for the title and heading to Indy will have to wait. :)

* SPARTY looks focused. Wish we came out with that same intensity for more than one quarter.

* And I guess the IOWA beatdown of Purdue helps our cause as well, making the Boilers look like a less appealing 6-6 bowl team (not to mention they have more empty seats in Ross Ade today than we have).

So we start off this latest drive with two passes and LOOK WHAT HAPPENS ... First and Goal.

Keep it up, Cats!!!
