I need someone smarter than me and trusted this time of year, to tell me what is in the best interests of the Big Ten, and hence my beloved Wildcats.  Thankfully I have Adam Rittenberg, who told me earlier Friday to root for:

"Iowa State to beat Oklahoma State and Baylor to beat Oklahoma. Losses by the Big 12's top two teams Saturday would virtually ensure the league gets only one team to a BCS bowl."

Well lo and behold, Iowa State did it.  Not sure if Baylor will help also, but maybe.  Though it may spread chaos, and give us a rematch between hated Alabama and despised LSU, I don't care about those things.  I care only about Fitz' men and the Big Ten Conference, so it appears that this upset, coupled with us beating the evil Gophers today, is indeed a good thing.

Hooray and congratulations, Cyclones !
