They were trying to play man against a team with a very quick guard who ate them up one
on one.
They switched to a 1-3-1 matchup with about a minute left in the half, and came back in
the 2nd in the zone. Even the TV guys commented that LSU couldn't figure out how to solve
the matchup, or how to break it.
What I saw really good in the game was Crawford playing like Shurna, and Cobb getting into
the mix. NU has a bunch of 3 point shooters now, that is for sure, and if you try to cover
one, like LSU did to Shurna, another guy steps up and shoots.
We'll have to see how they progress tomorrow.

Based on radio account (and Teddy Greenstein's analysis at halftime), it was a really ugly
first half--both offensively and defensively. Nice comeback in the second half, fueled by
a switch to the 1-3-1. Cobb and Sobolewski were big in the 2nd half as well. Sounded like
a night and day difference in how the team performed first half versus second half.
Carmody says he got after them pretty good at halftime--I'll bet!
