As has been said earlier, I think the 10 year contract extension in the
offseason plus the facilities upgrade plan recently presented to the
trustees and Phillips' own 10 year extension have all made a Fitz departure
less likely. Plus, look at the aftermath PSU will be facing and who would
want to uproot a large family who is close to where they grew up to move to
an entirely different region, follow a near-diety, and deal with one of the
messiest off-field situations ever? IMHO Fitz is wise enough to stay away
(remember Fitz never formally interviewed with Michigan last offseason)
even IF PSU comes calling (and I find that unlikely).
