[NU Sports] NYT Column on Penn State

I have been wondering lately if a bowl committee would want Penn State this year. More specifically, would the corporate sponsors want to put their logo next to Penn State's on TV and offer the shallow utterance of "we're proud and honored to have Penn State here today." 
 
Like Mike pointed out, the bowls themselves are contractually tied to the Big Ten. The sponsors can drop off if they choose to do so.
 
Assuming that they clean house of all coaches (and I mean all) then I don't a problem with Penn State playing the 2012 season.
