[NU Sports] 6-6 gridlock

I cannot remember the TV program (perhaps Meet the Press) but Tom Corbett, the governor of Pennsylvania, seemed to think that declining a bowl bid was worthy of consideration. That's a far cry from actually declining one, but he seemed open to the idea of staying home.
It would be unfair to the players if they were denied a bowl (though other schools have done it before). However, the greater university has to make some tough decisions. Keeping the current staff together through bowl season and then cleaning house will keep them in the headlines and probably further damage them on signing day in February.

I'm hoping we hit 7-5, but there's probably a big logjam regardless.
Big question in my mind is: Will PSU accept a bowl bid?
