[NU Sports] The second half ...

I called for a score-fest but hoped for 35-13...looks like my "hope" came through. I still don't trust our defense, but on rushing situations they're getting into the offensive backfield. A thought: Last year our defense played OK (not great, but not lousy either) before the last 3 games. This year they've played lousy all season but good the last 2 games. So it is possible to get better or worse during the season with the same players. I will try to have faith!
The turnovers prevented a probable 35,42-0 shut-out. Scary.
One thing I don't understand: Last week, we're up 14-10 in a hostile environment and send our green kicker in to try a 41 yard field goal. It was 4th and 2 after very conservative 3rd and 5 hand-off in which it appeared we were going to "go for it" on 4th down; the situation screamed for it. He missed it. This week, at home vs. Rice with no pressure up 21-0 its 4th and 9, and we don't let the same kicker try a 41 yarder? I didn't get that... Maybe working on 4th and long yardage situations?
Just a little thing; I'm not complaining just a bit perplexed. Then again, what else is new:)

      GO CATS!!! Eric

That would be me except for some trickeration and 3 turnovers and Fitz not
trying to run it up I might have been correct...but I'll take this
blowout...GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!

appears to have switched from the Jeremy Ebert Show to the Kain Colter
Show.

Who was it that said 35-0 yesterday? Good call. Hopefully the D keeps the
shutout - that would be a nice statement for them after this rough year.

Go Cats!
