Oh no, I assume a Stanford loss tonight.

But with the love they get from the B(C)S, they won't fall far and will get to crush a "rejuvenated" Irish team at the end of the year to make their case and won't have to play in the title game, so they'll finish 11-1.

And BTW, is Musburger Luck's agent or something? He needs to wipe the drool off his mouth when doing a Stanford game.

I've only seen the SC game and this Oregon one, but I'm more inclined to agree with Phil Simms on Luck. He's more Leinart than Payton, and he's played a soft, soft schedule.

Your first assumption is that Stanford will win tonight, right 
now that's far from certain.  

As for Houston, have they played anybody worth mentioning?  
UCLA was a not a good team back then, they've gotten a little
better as the season went along, but that loss to Arizona
was a major setback.
