[NU Sports] The protected rivalries ...

When's the last time they had played? I'm not sure if there was a rivalry in the 70s or something, but they sure aren't geographical rivals with that being the longest trip in the league.

You're kidding, right? The two powerhouse programs after Michigan and Ohio State? It would be an obvious cross-division rivalry even if they didn't already have a pretty rich rivalry history already. But they do--look it up. PSU vs Nebraska is one of the most attractive things about the new Big Ten (well, PSU's current situation notwithstanding).
