[NU Sports] Fitz Not on List

The lists I've seen (including one by Teddy Greenstein) include those 3
(Meyer, Schiano, Golden) as the primary candidates; I haven't seen Fitz on
any list. The 10 year contract extension inked this offseason is certainly
a huge reason why. (Note I don't think Bradley is a serious candidate as
they will likely completely clean house after this season).
In my opinion, I don't think Fitz is going to be on the radar here given
that aforementioned extension as well as the situation there. I'd look out
for someone currently out of coaching (e.g. Meyer) given what's been going
on and most coaches with good jobs would be unlikely to leave. Though
Golden will be facing NCAA sanctions down in Miami, it's arguable which
spot is worse right now (example: Darren Rovell tweeted last night that a
lawyer said PSU's liability could be upwards of $100M - that would
certainly take a hit on the football program).
