I doubt it. 

It's hard for me to imagine PSU turning down a bowl bid. On the other hand, how many PSU fans are going to want to travel to a bowl game this year?

One other thing to note: 

PSU faces 3 pretty tough games with Nebraska at home, followed by OSU and Wisconsin on the road. So a championship game bid is far from a lock. 

In fact, even without any controversy, I'd probably figure them to lose two out of three. I'm guessing the folks in the B1G office are going to be quietly hoping they drop all three.
