I have been very critical of Paterno and McQueary in the past 48 hours. I keep wondering "how could they not have taken action". Then it occured to me, it is entirely possible that one or both men have a history of molestation in their own personal lives. If either were abused as children (and I hope to hell that isn't the case) then their interrpretation of right and wrong could be greatly skewed. Still, they and others at Penn State failed to take appropriate action. There is plenty of blame to go around.
