And when it was clear nothing happened to Sandusky ... Then what? No follow up with law enforcement, which would have been logical had I had a sexual assault reported to me.
And Curley's response was tell Sandusky he couldn't bring kids on campus?? In other words go right ahead molesting boys Jerry -- just do not do it here.
And they all he knew Sandusky ran a charity where young boys were heavily involved -- and they just let it go on as normal?? Maybe it would have been a good idea to put a stop to that?
It may help those unfamiliar with Penn State to note that the AD in any football-related manner (and many others) is subservient to Joe.
Joe and Curley and the PSU cops knew all about this and took no serious action to stop it. It is disgusting behavior.
And now watch the dominoes fall -- more will come out and I bet it all edges closer to Joe.
Believe me I am not a Joe hater. Grew up in a PSU household and admired the man for years. But this is far beyond football. This is about helpless kids being assaulted by a man hiding behind "helping" them and people who could have stopped the crimes not doing so.

I've only read a bit on this very ugly topic so far, but the "Chicago Tribune"
reports that "the grad student [who witnessed an assault by Sandusky]..reported
what he saw to Paterno, who immediately told [AD] Curley, prosecutors said".
I don't interpret that as "doing nothing".
Penn State President (and NU grad) Graham Spanier has gone out on a limb with
unconditional support of Curley and Schultz.

I would normally agree and of course no one has been found guilty but these
accusations and the pattern of the coverup are much, much more credible and come
from multiple sources.
Read the grand jury report. It is devastating.
As for Joe, he may not be guilty of perjury or obstruction but innocent he was
not, either.

I think we have to be careful in the rush to judgement. Accusations are easy to
hurl. It may come out that Joe was complicit, but we don't know that yet.
Remember Duke Lacrosse. Remember Atlanta Olympic bombing

Read the details on the PSU mess and you discover Joe knew all about it and did
nothing.
He can't survive this hideous scandal and he shouldn't. Neither should PSU
president Spanier. Everybody must go.
It is a shame, but Joe and his cronies protected a buddy they knew was sick and
needed help and helped him avoid the law.
This makes your average recruiting scandal look like absolutely nothing.
Joe must go.
