If it were a Big Ten game (say OSU/PSU), it would be derided as sloppy offense and poor special teams.

But since it's an SEC game, and the CBS announcers are the best company men in the business, this is an outstanding defensive slugfest that absolutely must be repeated in the national title game. And Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life because he likes SEC football.

Personally, I was underwhelmed by this "game of the century" and the "Honey Badgers" is an outright thug. There's being physical and aggressive on D and there's being a thug who takes cheap shots and that KO punch he threw on the punt return towards the end was as dirty as it gets - well, maybe not the Illini player kneeing our guy in the groin, but close. I'm sure he'll be suspended for the Southwest McNeese Tech A&M game that LSU has scheduled next.

If they didn't replay Michigan/OSU, they better not replay this one. If the SEC media hype machine (that now seems to have spread to the NFL with a story on Cam Newton or Tim Tebow every frickin' fifteen minutes!) wants a rematch so badly, have them rig their so-called "championship" game to match 'em up in Atlanta.

But really, who cares? NU over UN!!! WOOHOO!!! :) And at least this game did cause ESPN to remove the pompous Urban Meyer from the booth for the Big Ten game.
