[NU Sports] Pass the crow, and some of that purple kool aid!

I dunno where this physical, smashmouth run game was for NU all year ... but sure glad they showed up in November!!! Welcome to the Big Ten, Nebraska!

Sparty fans can thank us later ... is this Fitz' second win over a top 10 team (Iowa #4), or do we have another I'm missing?

This game really felt like that Iowa game a few years back in Kinnick ... QB knocked out, we played our most physical game of the year and after the first quarter, you started to see NU's confidence grow that they could be on the field with these guys.

Nice to get a win in Lincoln ... now it's just darn Columbus and the Shoe that eludes many Cats fans in the NU road victory list for league play.

BIG win for bowl hopes and a big win that this team needed after that rough stretch in October. Now we gotta beat Rice and a resurgent Minnesota. The pro about the Sparty game is that they're one-dimensional too like UNL, the con is that their one dimension is the pass game (and I like our D against the run) and their D is pretty physical.

But those worries are for tomorrow. Big win in the road finale for the purple.
Tonight, REMEMBER THE ALAMO (Bowl) and WAY TO GO NU!!!
