Personally, I think we'll get thumped, but not like the Alamo Bowl. I see 24-48, but if somehow pull of the upset, it'll be some sort of bombastic score like we saw on Saturday. Eric

e are 17-1/2 point 'dogs to Nebraska. But that's nothing,, as Mich At. ia
avored by 28 at home over Gophers, Wisky by 26-1/2 at home to Boilers, Buckeyes
y 27-1/2 over Hoosiers at the Shoe. Guess the bookies think our offensive
rowess will keep us "close". This would be a great time for us to come up with
ur seminal performance of the year--both to have realistic shot at becoming
owl eligible, and because Nebraska is currently ranked 10th in BCS Standings,
nd No.9 in AP and USA Top 25's. If we were ever going to get a signature win
o boost the program's and Fitz's profile, this would be the week to do it. I
now it's probably a pipe dream, since we just can't seem to stop anybody with
he ball, but our offense really got its Mojo on Saturday, and did so without
bert playing much of a role. Usually, he is getting the lion's share of first
owns and TD's, so I consider his secondary role at Bloomington a very positive
ign. Then again Indiana's D has about as m
uch in common with Nebraska's D as our D does.:-) But, what the hey--at least
e got to savor a "W" the past 2 days--a "Good Feelin' to Know", as POCO once
ang.
Meanwhile, in the only conference game that Vegas feels is competitive, Wolves
avored by 4-1/2 in Iowa City. After their debacle in Minneapolis, the Hawkeyes
re now fighting for their season.
