And if they ever come up with a FBS playoff that involves more than 8 teams, I
suspect it will suffer from the same 'let the lesser conferences have more
seats at the table' problem that the NCAA Tournament has fallen victim to.

I saw a poll the other day:  Will a #16 seed ever defeat a #1 seed.

IMHO, not without outside help, like food poisoning or several arrests.
