Or the classic, "the information was shared with me in confidence and I didn't know who to tell".

    All,

From now on, when a program acts in a specious manner like Wazzu or tOSU, I will always back up their claim and state: "...based on new information." This was really a beauty! Or maybe old information, like he leads the team in rebounding, surfaced? Or new information, like he had 5 Big Macs after smoking all that Mary-Jane filled him up, so he could play? Shameful Cougars.

   Eric

The Washington State AD lifted DeAngelo Casto's suspension for tonight's game
supposedly based on "new information."

It's strange that the coach didn't reinstate him since the coach had suspended
him for breaking team rules.
