[NU Sports] Losing the biggest game of season in OT

It is a theory that I've had for a long time regarding NU and officiating.

To be sure, the refs normally do a pretty good job with our games, especially in the Big 10 at home, but we are still fighting the theory that the NU guys can't possibly be "that good."

NU Players help this thought process in the refs by over achieving during games, and doing things that have the refs thinking, "how did that sub-par athlete ever do that."

So we don't get the call because we're not considered that good to the general referee population. We have to keep winning, and making those post season appearances and maybe, just maybe, we'll change a few minds about our guys talents and abilities.

Meanwhile, all seems quiet from Spring Football. The NIT coverage has given Fitz cover to hold practices with few guys covering altho Chris at Scout seems to be having a lot of post practice interviews.

Go Cats!

Alamo Bowl. One year later, Outback Bowl. A little over one year later, the NIT. So similar, so heartbreaking, and, unfortunately, all too typical.

We will have our day - one day.
