Now we know our next NIT opponent: Washington State, Wednesday, 11:00pm
Eastern, 10:00pm Cat time, live from the beautiful environs of Pullman
Washington. The Cougs looked good tonight in taking out an overmatched
Oklahoma State team, which hung around but never seemed to really pose much
of a threat, falling behind by 10 or more in the first half and never
getting any closer. WSU has a super guard in Klay Thompson, the leading
scorer in the Pac-10 who can score from anywhere and I do mean anywhere.
This kid has no conscience. At one point tonight, he brought the ball up
court and calmly drained a shot from about 35 feet without so much as
looking at another WSU player or giving a thought to anything but shooting.

They play a fairly tough 2-3 match-up zone that seemed to keep Okie State
off their game most of the night. It should give Juice and Shurna a number
of good looks behind the arc. Let's just hope they're hitting. We can win
this game but it will take a good effort with maximum concentration and
tough defense especially on Klay.
