Remind me, again, Stephen - how does the Rose Bowl, and the tradition of
matching the Pac-10 and Big Ten, fit in to that concept of settling things
on the field to determine No. 1 in the USA?

Back to more serious matters: How do we lose by 32 points to Wisconsin in
what was supposed to be a statement game? The only statement I can make is:
absent a miracle, we are not going to the tournament. Again. I also suggest
that I am most weary of uttering this same statement every winter.
