Yes there is ... you see, unlike college football, which prefers to end its exciting season with a onslaught of meaningless games in front of half-empty stadiums or a so-called title game played after three months of layoff time with half sleepy teams, the NFL has this thing called a playoff.

It's really quite fun - packed houses, tense games, fans who are excited to be there and millions of people watching as it builds on a fun regular season. Sure, the best team may not always win (though it doesn't in college either), but you get these games that mean more and more each week until a championship game where they actually (gasp) settle things on the field!
