So you are saying that before Joe Paterno enters the house of any potential 
recruit that that kid must have applied for entrance into Penn State first? 
Than any blue-chip kid pursued by a dozen universities has to first apply to 
all the schools who want to visit him?  I find that hard to believe. 
Neither do I believe that trying to sell your school to a kid is, by 
definition, an unsavory act or automatically is equated to the previously 
mentioned alleged practices of SEC schools.
