True, but their new commish is trying to change that and might be more receptive to the idea - not to mention the hordes of media attention it would get the oft-forgotten west coast teams (plus the Rose Bowl ties our conferences have). I think it could only help both leagues.

Well, the SEC would never do it, has ties to another network that would have to be worked out and we play them enough.:) The Big XII also might not have the best of relations with us after taking UNL.

PS - Sorry I forgot the Huskers, Mike. :) Put them in for either PSU game.

I dunno, I think this could work ... it's one game per school, so you can still have three creampuffs at home, plus it gets the league good NC games and high publicity during the now dull September slate (since there's no real incentive to schedule tough anymore).

Hey - it can't be a worse idea than "legends" and "leaders" ... right? :)
