ABC and ESPN are both owned by Disney, so they could have just as easily
have had ABC outbid Fox.  

Personally, I think the 5 Big Ten bowl games on January 1st was a BAD
IDEA, I could really only watch at most about 2 1/2 of them.  

And the fact that the conference laid an egg made us THE story
on ESPN, at least as much as the individual games.  And the
sports pundits will pick on the Big Ten for the next 11 7/8 months.
