2) Keep the Rose Bowl on network television
3) Keep the Rose Bowl to Big Ten vs. Pac 10 champs for even better ratings

Oh yeah ... and the B(C)S and ESPN suck for targeting the one bowl that had managed to survive their onslaught against tradition. It won't be long before you see large chunks of unsold seats in Pasadena like you'll see in Miami tonight or in Phoenix with the super-low rated Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Eve (the one that was outdrawn by a hockey game :) ).
