Heck, if Alabama (or Iowa for that matter) played like they did in the bowl all season, they'd be back in the B(C)S.

No real surprises so far for the Big Ten in bowls ...

* IOWA had their A team show up (despite suspending some A team players) and got a nice win

* ILLINOIS had the good team show up as well and rolled

* NORTHWESTERN was undermanned, dug an early hole and put together a furious rally to fall just short ... again :(

* PENN STATE came out well-prepared as always under JoePa and is giving Florida  a game in a "pick 'em" for Urban's second annual retirement tearfest

* MICHIGAN STATE ran into an Alabama team that should be playing for the title if they had lived up to their talent all year - ouch!

* MICHIGAN is the one real surprise so far, as we knew their defense was horrendous, but at least I thought they'd score

So as we pretty much said entering bowl season, we were underdogs in pretty much every bowl but the B(C)S ones - and if the Badgers and Buckeyes do what they're capable of doing, the other games will be forgotten.

* WISCONSIN should stomp TCU unless they get behind early and have to get out of their running game

* OHIO STATE should win if they play like the preseason #2 team ... but if they get distracted with their off-field troubles, we'll see.
