... DEATH TO THE BCS!!!

Seriously, a big thank you to the B(C)S and ESPN for completely screwing up what USED to be the greatest day in sports.

Instead of staggering the Cotton/Outback, then Citrus/Gator, then Fiesta/Rose and then Sugar/Orange for a day of pigskin perfection ... we now get:

* A cluster#@*k of Florida bowls at noon Wildcat time with teams from the same conferences (how the Citrus let their "last before the B(C)S slot slip away is beyond me)

* A revolting Rose Bowl with the Smug Smirk of Cheddarland against a team that is not just a non Big Ten/Pac 10 team (that was ruined a decade ago by the Cartel morons), but now a team that isn't even in the major conferences!

* A nightcap that's sure to put you to sleep as we get the Oklahoma "we suck at the B(C)S worse than Ohio State but get none of the heat Tressel does" Sooners against some team that lost to Temple and the 7th place Big Ten team this year. Snoozers. Thank goodness the hockey game was moved to the evening.

Thanks again, B(C)S and ESPN Cartel. Bowl Day used to be awesome.

You guys truly suck and my new year's resolution will be to watch your inevitable demise with unabashed glee and celebration.
