Well put Art. I'm also glad as hell I didn't make the 2 hour drive from York, Pa to be subjected to yesterday's shenanigans. I'll be more disappointed (if thats even possible after yesterday) if we don't show some heart and get 3 more wins the rest of the way to insure a berth in the NIT.
I can't remember EVER saying this about one of our teams, but I saw lack of effort throughout; from more than one player. Balls which could have been had by diving were simply given to State. I saw no attempt (more than once) to box out. Let's just give Penn St. ANOTHER offensive rebound. Penn St. was tired of their 3 game losing streak. Not sure about our team.
With that said, I trust in our AD in re-signing Bill, with the proviso that states we don't fall flat on our face and miss the NIT (that happened 6,7 years ago). Give Bill one more year ; he elevated our program from bad to OK as 3 straight NIT berths suggest. Give him one more year to get them from OK to good. No excuses next season, not even your best player quitting or one of your best getting hurt.
GO CATS!! Eric

Subject: [NU Sports] silence on the NU list
In the wake of yesterday's massacre, I observe that the members of this list
were taught well by their mothers--particularly, "if you don't have something
nice to say, don't say anything at all".
