My fears last night of a Special Teams imbalabce have been borne out.  So far, IMHO, it is the single deciding factor in the game, as TAMU's field poasition advantage has been friggin' HUGE.  The big kickoff after our TD being Exhibit A.

... and by that I mean "meh."

This bowl game just seems to be in a haze right now, a funk, a case of the blahs. Throw in 2000% humidity, and you have Houston.

Sloppy game all around. The two offenses have shown spurts, but also some amazing sloppiness in dropped passes, key penalties, etc. The defenses have been erratic at best. Even the officiating, camerawork, replay booth and field get grades of Ds at best.

On the plus side, at least ATM is up in the 3rd, which is where we want them, right?

This funk of a game has gotta get better, right?

PS - Can they replay that field goal? That sure was an ugly kick and it looked wide. But asking for a replay today is too much. Even from the TV crew.
