[NU Sports] EDUCATION: Male students' grades drop when football teams win

By my worst quarter at NU was the fall of 1995. That probably has something to do with the fact that I attended all 11 regular season games. This is also come correlation to a class called Econometrics. To this day I do not accept that as a legitimate course of study. I spent nearly every class sitting between Matt Rice and Paul Janus discussing practice and upcoming games.

I would say that this is true ...

The only two grades where I dipped below what I felt was acceptable at NU (A/B) was one in the winter quarter of 1994 (NU's NIT hoops run) and the fall quarter of 1995 (Rose Bowl).

So this has a ring of truth to it. :)
