<According to Mike's link, He will be running in James Meeks' South-side city district.  In all likelihood, the district probably has not in recent memory elected a non-Democrat.  My guess would be that most years, the <Republican Party hasn't even fielded a candidate.

I know.  But still I say, "alas."  Chicago desperately needs to become a two-party town, but I won't hold my breath.
