[NU Sports] Ranking the Bowls

Yeah, you'd think the "DO NOT TURN OFF EARLY" line would put us higher in the pecking order.

And I agree on MSU/UGa - that's gonna be a good ole' fashion "lace 'em up and knock heads for three hours" game ... also love the dig at the Sugar Bowl VaTech selection head scratcher (if only he wouldn't suck up to the party line on the Rematch Bowl) ... and he's unfortunately probably on the under side of the St. Urban of Sanctimonious Pomposity references in Jacksonville.

But honestly, looking at the list, there are not too many I'm going to go out of my way to see. The Rose Bowl has great potential as long as I can stomach watching Chip the Cocky and the Smug Smirk of Cheddarland on the sidelines patting themselves on the back every five seconds ... and that Outback and Fiesta should make decent Jan. 2 bookends for the Granddaddy ... but really, do any others stick out as must-see games??? Nah.

GO CATS!!!

Humourous article by NU's own Stewart Mandel, ranking the bowls--we are lower than I expected:
