[NU Sports] Meineke Bowl

LOL, someone should remind Coach Petersen that Michigan was playing--and excelling in--college football 100 years before Boise State got around to fielding a team, and that goes a long way toward explaining why they were chosen for an at-large spot.  

Seriously, I'm getting tired of these schools who run up 10 win records every year against subpar competition and think they're God's gift to college football.  As TCU will re-learn starting next year, going 8-4 or 9-3 in a major conference can be a significant achievement--it just won't make you a media darling.
