[NU Sports] coaching caravan continues

Pat Hill finally ran out of giants he could kill at Fresno State and has
been fired after 15 years.  His dismal record against rival Boise State
probably didn't help his case.

As expected Colorado State has fired coach Steve Fairchild, who lost
his patron when AD Paul Kowalczyk was fired last week.

Carl Pelini, Nebraska's defensive coordinator, has been announced
as the new head coach at Florida Atlantic, replacing Howard
Schnellenberger, the man who built FAU's football program from the 
ground up, literally, but announced he would retire at the end of 
the season, FAU struggled to a 1-11 record this season.
