Wait....isn't that what just happened to Michigan State because the Big Ten had it's first  playoff?  And, what was the point of Michigan State's original win over Wisconsin?  Didn't the Big Ten playoff diminish Michigan State's win.....?

... that a playoff would diminish the regular season of college football.

The B(C)S has just done that, by dismissing LSU's win AT Alabama earlier this year and giving Nick Saban a month to prepare for a rematch.

Yawn.

It's nice that Michigan got chosen, but VaTech??? They couldn't even give us the RichRod Bowl???

The B(C)S has already made 99% of bowl games -- even the sacred Rose Bowl -- meaningless exhibitions played in front of 20,000+ empty seats.

Now they have rendered the regular season -- long considered the best argument against a playoff -- meaningless as well.

What a joke. The Big Ten and Pac 12 need to just withdraw from this joke and play 5-6 bowls between the two leagues in a bowl week leading up to the Rose Bowl. More people would tune in to that anyway.

GO CATS!!!

PS - Urban Meyer and his SEC ilk owe the Big Ten an apology for the anti-Michigan/OSU rematch whines of 2007 ... so do the voters that year ... at least that was a rematch people actually wanted to see.

I hope Bama wins by a field goal and shows everyone what a joke this B(C)S actually is.
