[NU Sports] Jim Phillips' Father Loses His Dad

"I have lost my hero."  Those were Jim Phillips' words, oon the passing of his father, John, at age 96:  http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/chi-john-phillips-nu-ads-father-dies-i-have-lost-my-hero-20111202,0,2682706.story

I think all of us join in sending condolences to the entire Phillips Clan.  Anybody have any ideas how we can actually do so as a group--or individually?
