Don't remember if this was mentioned earlier but the empty suit that is the
Memphis AD announced he will be retiring at the end of June 2012, which is
the best thing that has happened to Memphis football in the last 25 years.
Should improve their chances of landing a decent coach to replace the one
they just fired after two years on the job, although money will be tight as
next season they will be paying three head coaches. *

*It certainly seems like this year there are a lot more coaches getting
fired generally, and a whole lot more getting fired after just two years.
The money involved in football is now so great that schools are not willing
to give coaches a chance to build a program slowly, the one it needs to be
built for long-term success.  Kevin Wilson better have IU winning next year.
