Don't know Shurna personally, but from what BC says about him, I somehow think he'd be embarrassed to be considered the "Moses" of NU basketball.
Besides, wasn't Juice supposed to lead the Cats to the promised land? Or did his Aaron lose his way on the road to his final season?

Dan P. is to receive the National Football Foundation’s Mental Toughness Award on Feb. 20 at Halas Hall: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/chi-persa-chandler-to-be-awarded-for-mental-toughness-20111201,0,1819452.story
Meanwhile, towards the latter part of last night's ESPNU broadcast of Wake's close win over Nebraska, the announcers were talking about the 'Cats W over Ga. Tech, and then noted that Shurna had poured in 25. They then riffed on Shurna, saying that (a) he is "one of the top players in the country" and (b) is making a case for All-American honors.
Does anybody recall any NU hoops player ever receiving that type of praise and notoriety? I don't; the closest I can think of was Evan Eschmeyer, but I don't think he ever was placed in the "top players" or "All-American" category. We have a speial player--if he can stay healthy--and maybe he will take us to the promised land, in which case I propose that we change his "New Testament" name (John) to a more appropriate "Old Testament" moniker--Moses. No religious agenda here, by the way.
